The A's are Visiting

We haven't seen Angie and Abraham since November, so it was such a treat to have them in town!

They stayed at Momma and Daddy G.'s house in Indiana but came into the city almost every day so the cousins could play and to spend time with the rest of the family.

Angie and I managed to get away together for some girls' time. We decided to get mani-pedis for an hour of true rest and relaxation therapy. Little did we expect, our gossip magazine and TV time was short lived when the hair stylist of the salon came over to chat our ears off. Jenny was a "famous stylist and model" in Taiwan. She was also very entertaining and her stories gave our stomach muscles a workout from laughing so much.

Favorite quotes of the day include:

(Jenny telling us about a night out with her friends at the bar)

"Yes, you can buy me a drink... My name? Oh, my names is shut up!"

(Jenny telling us about her daughter leaving for a month-long summer camp that costs $3,000)

"What is camp? When I little, we play with rock and tree. Swimming? When it rain, I swim."

Oh oh, good times! Haha!

Before Angie and Abe left we had a nice family dinner at the Tuckers. As the night wound down and before we parted ways, we decided to try to get a family picture. Optimism for a photo to actually turn out right before the kids' bedtime was little to none. However, much to our surprise we got a few great shots!

I guess we should always take the family picture at 9:30 PM.
Surprisingly, it turned out great even though we were all tuckered out!
